I saw that the police now has a Ford Focus police car, is that really what they are going with after the Crown Vic? Such sad. This is the police for that has a GMC Sierra dually and a Nissan Sentra so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Similar to this car just less cool livery.

I left a little late and planned on making up time with a bit of speed (85mph), but an unmarked police that took the same route as I did ruined that plan. Sigh .

Todays commute was boring. Last night was atrocious. Whiteout conditions with 2-3" per hour snowfall, people with no snow tires driving at 15mph, trucks driving at 70

Got stuck behind what must have been a substitute school bus driver who kept stopping traffic on a major thoroughfare causing a huge backup. The normal driver on that route does not use the red lights on the main road, just the yellows. With this sub driver, each time the red lights flipped off in was like a race started to get around it. Not safe at all.

the only eventful and surprising thing today was that people actually moved off the left lane if you were, idk say 10 car lanes behind them approaching at a seemengly faster speed (even if I was doing like 1mph more than them). It was quite surprising to see people be kind, heck some older Gentleman in a new Accord v6, moved over to the right as I approached. I looked at him, tin awe since he was the first one to move, and we both kindly nodded and kept going. Then two other cars that were on the left moved for me as I approached.

Other than that, boring flat Kansas City.

Still recovering from my bad back, so grateful that I installed a block and tackle in my garage for hoisting the hardtop off the Miata. (It was super effective !) Went open-top this morning, which was nice because the added visibility allowed me to see five police and highway patrol cars in the 8.6 miles to work. I also realized how much better of a mood I am in when arriving to work having listened to music instead of NPR. A little disappointed that it was mostly cloudy but it's supposed to get to 80ºF today.

A rear-ended GMC Sierra which confused the hell out of me by having Chevy wheels. Bowties and everything. GMC doors, tailgate and grille though.

Haha I jumped the gun, had a bunch of stuff from my commute. It's your thing though, I'll let you have it.

My dad used to own a gas station/shop across from a GMC dealer. They got an entire shipment of Suburbans (this was the 90s when they had GMC suburbans) that had GMC up front and Chevy on the back. Guy at the front of the trucks and back of trucks were not communicating well on the assembly line that day...

We had a great laugh from it though (dealer was PISSED)

No SR20 but saw a Tercel on its roof, an M5 pulled up next to me at a stop light, gave him the thumbs up, but didn't reciprocate.. Even though I drive a much rarer M car..hmm people are strange..

It wasn't technically on the commute, but I was driving between buildings at work and passed someone who had overcooked a corner and plowed directly into a telephone pole, knocking lines down.

The whole maneuver around it was sketchy as hell, but there was a line of people backing up, and many of them were blocking the road with their vulcanized necks. So I had to drive past down power lines. Which was nice.

Yeah, yesterday's commute was hell. Took me almost 2.5 hours to go from Waltham to Worcester.

This morning, I saw someone who... well I'm not sure what they did but all I saw was the ass end of a car off the road/up in the air right at the end of the 495 ramp merging onto the I-90 eastbound.
